The people behind Icy Cleaners
Experience, trust and a strong team
We are Alexandra and Tobias. We’ve been a couple since 1994 and continue to work side by side to this day. Originally from Bremen, Germany, we have built a life shaped by responsibility, craftsmanship and an entrepreneurial mindset.
In 2007, we moved to Canada and settled in Calgary, Alberta. That’s where we raised our two sons and became Canadian citizens in 2016. Our oldest son now serves as a certified jet mechanic in the Canadian Air Force.
Today, we live in Washington State and operate Icy Cleaners together. What unites us is the mindset of doing things with care, precision and mutual respect – both in life and in our work.
Operations, customer service and quality
Alexandra
Alexandra has years of experience in office management and cleaning. She is responsible for daily operations, customer communication and the planning of every project. She keeps things running smoothly and ensures that our standards are met every step of the way.
As the owner of Icy Cleaners, she is responsible for the business side, organizational structure and contact with clients and regulatory offices.
Technical expertise, vehicle passion and dry ice work
Tobias
Tobias brings a solid background in construction and trades, going back to his time in the German military and his years as a self-employed contractor. He has led job sites and worked hands-on with a wide range of materials and systems.
He has always had a deep interest in vehicles, especially motorsports. NASCAR has been a longtime passion, and that attention to detail now shapes the way he works at Icy Cleaners. Whether cleaning an undercarriage or restoring a classic, he treats every vehicle like his own.
